Pannekoek is a dutch/belgian pancake and are usually larger (up to a foot in diameter) and much thinner than American or Scottish pancakes. They may incorporate slices of bacon, apples, cheese, or raisins.

My Pancake with apples. Not a fan but it’s nice.
His Pancake — with Bacon and onion.
For me, Pancakes are only eaten as a breakfast with no added toppings just butter and maple syrup. I wanted a taste of a Dutch food so, here am I eating some pancakes for dinner. Everything is new to my taste buds but I enjoyed the bacon with some white sugar on it. Not bad but, he also said, it wasn’t the best pancakes he had. The place is nice and small with all the Pirate theme. The waitresses are entertaining and nice. Overall, the experience is nice. I should try the one in Amsterdam, they said its better.
