Apeldoorn, Netherlands

We went to Apeldoorn for one specific reason. Boyfriend needs to buy shoes and its only available there. Since I haven’t seen Apeldoorn we took the chance to walk around and take some pictures.

I believe in every station there is always a monument.

So, in Apeldoorn they have this one. A photo impression of “The Kiss” (“De Kus”), a statue in front of Apeldoorn Central Station. A monument in remembrance of the marriage of Prins Willem Alexander and Prinses Maxima. February 2, 2002.

I was in Amsterdam celebrating my first Queens day with friends and boyfriend when this attacked happened.

They put a monument for the people who died in the incident. As you can see there are blue and white balloons in there.

the blue ones are for the people who died. there are 7 names engraved in the glass and a poem.
